Hilton Australia was an exclusive bi-monthly in-room magazine for guests staying
at Hilton Hotels in Australia and New Zealand. The magazine offerd a blend of
global travel and lifestyle articles including business, sports, fashion, beauty, motoring and the arts.
I was responsible for the magazines redesign. Maintaining its larger printed format allowed
for a more open layout within a very structured grid. A smaller point size and larger leading
gave a very text heavy page a less intimidating feel and also allowed for higher word counts whilst
maintaining an open feeling and a sense of 'white space'.
