About Me
Keep it professional. That's what keeps running through my head as I sit down to write 'About Me'. I've never written 'About Me' in my life.

I've written about things I have done, people I have seen and places I have been... But 'About Me'? Nup... sadly, not a word.

Alright, here goes... Born a bunch of years ago in a hospital that no longer exists in a city I am convinced no-one actually wants to live in. It was the year of the Dragon and the moon looked like a goat... or was it a ram? Whether it was waxing or waning I couldn't tell you. What I can tell you is this... (insert poignant sentence here)!

Based in Sydney with over 12 years experience in publishing, corporate design and event branding, I have a sick infatuation with the font Gotham, a paralysing fear of spiders and a need to see what's over the next hill.

As cliched and corny as it sounds, I really do love design and all things that allow someone to express themselves creatively.

Earlier in my career, I remember the first time I made something move across the screen with Macromedia Flash. Fast forward 12 years, after having relied on the talents of programmers to make the websites I've designed work, I spent the weekend with a mate who has a little more understanding of the internet than I, and the patience to try to explain it to me...

The next weekend, I deconstructed what we had created a week earlier. I then Googled what exactly 'CSS' and 'HTML' stood for, scratched my head and then set about building my portfolio from scratch.
